Refund Policy

MAKEUGC runs on prepaid credits. Because generation consumes real compute the moment you use it, refunds apply only to the unused value of eligible purchases, as described below. You can request a refund yourself from your account menu (“Refund credits”).

What’s refundable

The Standard and Pro credit packs are refundable for their unused portion. The Trial pack is an introductory offer and is not refundable.

How the amount is calculated

Your refund is the amount you paid for eligible packs, minus the value of the credits you’ve already used, minus the payment-processing fee that Stripe does not return to us:

refund = amount paid − (credits used × $0.007) − Stripe fee (2.9% + $0.30 per purchase)

Used credits are always valued at the Standard pack rate ($0.007/credit). The unused credits are removed from your balance when the refund is issued, and the money is returned to your original payment method (typically within a few business days). If the value you’ve already used is equal to or greater than what you paid, there is nothing left to refund.

Requesting a refund

Open the account menu in the top-right and choose Refund credits. You’ll see the exact breakdown before you confirm. Refunds are final once confirmed. For anything the self-serve flow can’t handle, contact us at [email protected].

Chargebacks & abuse

We reserve the right to decline refunds and to suspend accounts in cases of fraud or abuse of this policy.
